- Mining to lead regulatory strategy and client advisory support for complex legacy mining environmental remediation and reclamation projects.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Serve as a regulatory lead for environmental remediation and reclamation projects at legacy mine sites
- Advise clients on permitting, compliance strategy, and regulatory risk
- Lead regulatory reviews, audits, corrective action programs, and closure planning
- Interface directly with regulatory agencies at the state and federal level
- Monitor regulatory trends and support proactive client strategy
- Support proposals, client development, and strategic growth initiatives
- Mentor and support development of technical staff Regulatory experience Experience in the following areas is preferred: State-level environmental and mining regulations (New Mexico experience preferred, or similar Southwest U.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field 12+ years of regulatory experience related to legacy or active mine sites Experience supporting remediation, reclamation, and enforcement negotiations Strong understanding of permitting, compliance, and regulatory strategy- Excellent technical writing and executive communication skills

Salary Range:
$94,050- $117,563.
