Jennmar Services We are currently seeking an experienced Underground Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in an underground mining environment.
Qualifications35 years of underground maintenance experience requiredCurrent MSHA Electrical Card requiredExperience troubleshooting and repairing underground mining equipmentStrong mechanical and electrical knowledgeAbility to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs efficientlyExperience with preventative maintenance and equipment inspectionsAbility to work safely in an underground mining environmentMust follow all company, mine-site, and MSHA safety policies and proceduresMust be dependable and able to work effectively as part of a teamResponsibilitiesPerform electrical and mechanical maintenance on underground mining equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issuesComplete preventative maintenance and scheduled equipment repairsInspect equipment and identify potential safety or mechanical concernsRepair and replace electrical and mechanical components as neededMinimize equipment downtime through timely troubleshooting and repairsMaintain a clean and safe work areaComplete required maintenance documentationFollow all MSHA regulations and site-specific safety proceduresRequiredApplicants MUST have 35 years of relevant underground maintenance experience AND possess a current MSHA Electrical Card to be considered.
