Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Super / Foreman to manage Public & Private projects on construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in excavation operations and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards. Duties Supervise excavation activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Coordinate and manage the operation of heavy machinery including bulldozers, dump trucks, loaders, and water trucks. Oversee site preparation, including digging, paving, and grading to meet project requirements. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain accurate records of daily operations, equipment usage, and workforce activities. Train and mentor crew members on safe operating procedures and best practices in excavation work. Skills Proficient in operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, dump trucks, loaders, and water trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience in commercial driving is preferred for transporting materials on-site. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders on-site.
