Your Impact The Lead Long Term Planning is responsible for formulating and executing cross-functional mine plans that optimize mine planning activities to meet 5-year and Life of Mine business objectives and Reserves & Resource deliverables. This role involves collaborating closely with Site Technical Services, Senior Leadership Team functions, and the LTP Support Team to advise and inform enterprise, exploration, and capital investment decisions for complex sites or multiple sites. The LTP Lead will assess and analyze data, coordinate efforts across functions, and recommend strategies to improve and streamline planning processes, ensuring adherence to business goals and regulatory requirements. As Part of Our Team, You Will Formulate Open Pit Optimized Mine designs and detailed phase designs, outlining the sequence of mining operations over the life of the mine. Formulate and maintain an Integrated long-term plan for the mine, detailed 5-year production plans, development milestones, and closure activities. Leading the site specific OP team to deliver accurate achievable budgets. Conduct options analysis for different mining scenarios to support strategic decision-making. Lead the estimation of mineral reserves and resources according to international reporting standards. Formulate and execute a cutoff grade strategy that optimizes the economic return from mining operations. Coordinate the conceptual design process for mining projects, focusing on innovative and cost-effective solutions. Update extension plans based on exploration results and changing market conditions. Integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into planning. Present mine/phase designs, options/tradeoffs, and LOM schedules to stakeholders (Site) for approval and feedback and facilitate regular reviews of the long-term plan to incorporate new data and strategic shifts. Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. The salary range offered for this role is USD $118,600- 170,625. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
