Mining Site Performance Manager Wheeler Machinery Co - 3.6 Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Full-time 19 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Site Performance Manager is a subject matter expert for mining machine performance and customer relationship management. Managing key machine performance metrics and developing strategy to improve machine performance. Responsible for organizing and interpreting data in order to assist in customer mining equipment performance. Site Performance Manager participates in and leads continuous improvement initiatives at customer sites. Site Performance Manager communicates key performance metrics with both customers and CAT for mining equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage and implement general continuous improvement initiatives at customer mine sites. Communicate with CAT on metrics, key issues, and continuous improvement opportunities. Build relationships with key customers with goals of managing product performance. Create Business Intelligence tools for tracking key performance metrics for both customers and Wheeler mining team Participate in mine site assessments. Performs all other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Self-starter and complex problem solver - ability to deliver results with limited supervision Proficient in computer software systems including Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems Ability to interact with the customer daily Excellent motivational skills and works well with a team but also able to work alone Effective communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to pay strong attention to detail Ability to interact effectively in multi-disciplined, multi-cultural team environments including working with customers in planning, operations, and maintenance of parts, service, sales, and support personnel Effective team participation skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Continuous Improvement, Lean 6 sigma, or manufacturing process improvement experience Mining experience preferred.
