Compensation $145k-$165K Annually | DOE Responsibilities Responsible for mine planning, safety, environmental matters, cost control, production and maintenance for assigned aggregate operations Managing multiple land use contracts Document production statistics and produce reports as required Supervise production operations; manage team Responsible for working closely with the aggregate sales team to ensure sales goals are met Environmental, OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other regulatory compliance, as required for assigned locations Responsible for financial performance of aggregate operations to include profit and loss performance results Ability to locate and develop new mine site operations Direct, coach and develop employees and ensure company policy compliance Reporting responsibilities such as production statistics Engage with local community governing agencies and associations as required Direct the capital and operating budget processes Maintain working relationships with all departments to ensure work objectives can be met Develop plans to work towards improved performance and lower operating costs Communicate with the local community Driver of safety culture Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, or Concrete Industry Management degree Requirements/Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience running an aggregate site Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of surveying Project management experience Commitment to safety Strong computer skills - presentations and reporting Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
Working knowledge of SAP Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration/clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing. For work that will be performed in the San Francisco area, qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for employment.
