Job Description

Infinity Natural Resources (
NYSE:
INR), is an oil and gas exploration and production company deeply rooted in the Appalachian Basin. Headquartered in Morgantown, WV, we are committed to responsible energy development, operational excellence, and strong environmental stewardship across our growing operations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. We pride ourselves on a collaborative work environment, a team dedicated to innovation and safety, and our strong connection to the Appalachian Basin, the region we proudly call home and operate within. The Opportunity As the Land Administration Manager , you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for the integrity and evolution of our land asset data. In this high-impact role, you will oversee the critical systems of record for leasehold and mineral interests, ensuring our data remains a reliable foundation for drilling operations and financial reporting. As we continue to grow as a public company, you will have the chance to build scalable workflows and implement robust internal controls that safeguard our assets. You will lead a dedicated team in providing essential support for Acquisitions & Divestitures (A&D) and regulatory compliance, playing a pivotal role in translating complex land obligations into actionable business success.
What You Will Be Doing:
Directly oversee the Land Administration team, including hiring, performance management, and ongoing coaching and mentorship to ensure a high-performing team. Optimize workload distribution between internal staff and external vendors/brokers to maintain a lean, scalable operation during periods of rapid growth. Establish and enforce rigorous QA/QC protocols for data entry and payment workflows to ensure compliance with SOX and other public company reporting requirements. Review and audit payment approvals and Land Payment Schedules, serving as a final gatekeeper to mitigate financial risk and ensure contractual compliance. Serve as the Business Owner for the Land System of Record, leading the strategic integration of data between Land, Accounting (ODA), and Engineering platforms. Standardize the entry and tracking of complex unit documents, assignments, and curative paperwork to ensure the chain of title is "drillsite ready." Lead Land Administration deliverables for permitting and drilling programs, coordinating closely with the Operations and Regulatory teams to meet rigorous spud schedules. Oversee statutory unitization efforts, leading the execution of all administrative filings and notifications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Direct the due diligence process for major corporate transactions, providing critical analysis of leasehold value, defect identification, and seamless post-closing data integration. Identify and implement process improvements to automate manual workflows, reduce cycle times for owner inquiries, and enhance the accuracy of land-related financial forecasting.
Your Background:
Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Business, or Law required; professional certification (CPL or RPL) is highly preferred. 7+ years of progressive Land Administration experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a public E&P company; a track record of managing high-value A&D due diligence is essential. In-depth knowledge of E&P land practices, including complex lease terms, payment obligations (shut-ins, royalties), and a strong familiarity with Appalachian Basin land practices. Expert-level experience with enterprise land databases (specifically OnDemand Land) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial forecasting. Specialized ability to resolve complex title and fractionalized ownership issues, alongside proficiency in drafting legal instruments such as curative documents, extensions, and memorandums. Proven ability to manage competing priorities under high-pressure drilling and reporting schedules, maintaining rigorous QA/QC and document control standards. Excellent interpersonal skills for executive and owner relations, underpinned by an unwavering commitment to professional integrity and confidentiality.
