Job Description

Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, dependable Fossil Quarry Supervisor to help lead operations at our Clear Creek fossil quarries near Kemmerer, Wyoming. This is a hands-on leadership role in a rugged quarry environment and requires someone who is comfortable supervising employees, operating heavy equipment, solving problems independently, and leading by example. This position will primarily work at our 18″ layer quarry near Fossil Butte National Monument, where our team splits limestone to uncover fossil fish. This is not a typical outdoor job or a casual fossil-collecting role. The work is physically demanding, production-focused, and requires strong organization, reliability, and practical decision-making in the field. The position is seasonal and is expected to run through the end of October. For the right candidate who performs well, this position would be available again next spring, starting around April. The ideal candidate must have significant experience supervising teams, including hiring, training, motivating employees, correcting performance issues, and disciplining employees when necessary. We need someone who can set clear expectations, hold people accountable, keep morale up, and lead from the front rather than simply giving orders. Reliability is critical. The Fossil Quarry Supervisor must show up to work on time, be ready to work, and set the standard for the rest of the crew.

Join our dynamic team as a Fossil Quarry Supervisor for seasonal work, where you will lead and oversee excavation operations focused on fossil discovery and extraction. Drug testing may be required. Work Environment & Conditions:

Qualifications:
