About Jubilee Community Center JCC is a community-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering mental, physical, spiritual and social development, with an emphasis on the arts. Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic visionary to lead our organization with passion and purpose. In this pivotal role, as Executive Director, you will serve as the chief administrative leader of JCC and be responsible for overseeing organizational operations, facility management, community, engagement, and marketing initiatives. Furthermore, the right candidate will actively assist the Board of Directors in program development, fundraising, strategic growth and they will understand that also comes with quite a bit of paperwork. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director champions the organization's mission while ensuring fiscal responsibility, organizational sustainability, and community impact. Reporting Relationship The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and provides monthly reports regarding organizational finances, program outcomes, strategic initiatives, fundraising efforts, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Facility Operations Oversee day-to-day facility operations and organizational assets. Maintain policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Monitor facility needs and recommend improvements to the Board. Manage organizational inventory and resources. Marketing and Communications Oversee multimedia marketing and public relations efforts. Ensure consistent brand messaging and community visibility. Promote programs, events, and organizational achievements through appropriate communication channels (digital and in-person). Community Engagement and Partnerships Serve as a primary ambassador and spokesperson for JCC. Build and maintain relationships with diverse civic, cultural, educational, business, and community organizations . Promote accessibility, and community participation. Facilitate communication between community stakeholders and the Board of Directors as needed. Program Development and Management Identify, develop, and support programs that advance the mission and vision of JCC. Collaborate with the Artist-in-Residence program and the Crossroads brand initiatives. Work with community partners and the Board to implement approved initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and community impact. Fundraising and Financial Management Develop and manage the annual operating budget in partnership with the Board Treasurer. Support financial oversight, reporting, and accountability processes. Assist with proposal development and grant management. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to funders and stakeholders. Strengthen donor engagement. Strategic Planning and Organizational Growth Develop and implement strategic initiatives that support long-term organizational sustainability. Create opportunities for internships, community engagement, and organizational expansion . Monitor progress toward strategic goals and recommend adjustments as needed. Leadership and Organizational Stewardship Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and organizational integrity. Support and advise the Board of Directors in carrying out its governance responsibilities. Coordinate volunteers, contractors, and community partners as appropriate. Ensure compliance with applicable nonprofit regulations, grant requirements, and organizational policies. Qualifications Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience in nonprofit management, arts administration, community engagement, or a related field. Experience developing, implementing, and managing programs or events . Experience working collaboratively with a Board of Directors. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking communication skills. Ability to build community partnerships and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Experience with marketing, communications, and social media platforms. Commitment to the mission and values of The Sanctuary/JCC. Preferred Qualifications Fundraising and grant-writing experience. Budget development and financial management experience. Strategic planning and organizational development experience.
