Executive Director (Part-Time) Life Choices Family Resource Center Montrose, CO Part-Time | Exempt | 25-30 Hours Per Week About Us Life Choices Family Resource Center is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving women, men, and families facing pregnancy-related decisions with compassion, hope, practical support, and life-affirming care. We are seeking a mission-minded Executive Director to lead our organization with strong leadership, vision, integrity, and a heart for ministry. Position Summary The Executive Director serves as the chief executive and strategic leader of the organization, overseeing daily operations, staff and volunteer leadership, fundraising, financial stewardship, community engagement, and long-term organizational growth. Working closely with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will help ensure the ministry remains effective, sustainable, and aligned with its Christian mission and values. This position is ideal for a servant leader who is passionate about supporting families, building relationships within the community, and guiding a faith-centered nonprofit organization. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategic Vision Lead and implement strategic goals in partnership with the Board of Directors Identify opportunities for ministry growth, outreach, and community impact Ensure programs and services align with organizational mission and ethical standards Monitor community needs and relevant legal or nonprofit developments Fundraising & Community Relations Lead fundraising efforts including donor development, church partnerships, grants, events, and annual campaigns Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, churches, businesses, and community leaders Represent the organization at community events and speaking engagements Promote awareness of the center's services and mission throughout the region Financial & Operational Oversight Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and responsible stewardship of resources Ensure sound financial controls and nonprofit compliance Supervise center operations and support high-quality client services Ensure policies, procedures, confidentiality, and safety standards are maintained Staff & Volunteer Leadership Recruit, supervise, support, and evaluate staff and volunteers Foster a collaborative, encouraging, and mission-focused workplace culture Support training, professional development, and team accountability Conduct annual staff evaluations Board & Organizational Support Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors Provide regular operational and financial reports Support board committees and implementation of board-approved policies QualificationsRequired Strong commitment to the organization's Christian mission and life-affirming values Leadership experience in nonprofit management, ministry leadership, healthcare administration, or a related field Experience in fundraising and donor relationship management Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills Financial management and budgeting experience Ability to lead and motivate staff and volunteers with professionalism and compassion High level of integrity, discretion, and organizational leadership Preferred Experience with pregnancy resource centers, women's health services, or nonprofit ministries Familiarity with nonprofit compliance, grant management, and accreditation standards Experience working with boards of directors Schedule & Working Conditions Part-time position averaging 25-30 hours per week Some evenings and weekends required for events and community engagement Occasional travel for conferences, training, or partner meetings Office and client-service work environment Spiritual Expectations Applicants should: Demonstrate a growing Christian faith and active involvement in a local church Support and uphold the organization's Statement of Faith and mission Model integrity, compassion, confidentiality, and Christ-centered leadership To Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your experience, leadership background, and interest in the mission of Life Choices Family Resource Center.
