Job Description

Overview Director - Civic Association (Full-Time, On-Site) We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director to lead our non-profit civic association and oversee daily operations, program and event creation and implementation, community engagement, and long-term strategic initiatives. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a motivated professional who can balance strategic leadership with hands-on management of operations, programs, and facilities and is passionate about community involvement. The Director serves as the primary leader and spokesperson for the organization, working closely with the Board of Directors, members, sponsors and community stakeholders to enhance programs, services, and overall impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and ensure alignment with the association's mission and goals Serve as the official spokesperson and representative of the organization Oversee all financial operations, including fundraising, budgeting, reporting, fiscal management and working with financial support team Create, implement, and oversee community and educational programs, initiatives, and events Manage day-to-day operations of the association, including staff and volunteers Oversee maintenance, operations, and usage of the main building and rental property Foster strong relationships with members, sponsors, partners, vendors, and local businesses and organizations Support and collaborate with the Board of Directors on governance and planning in a timely and accurate manner HIre, direct and train qualified staff and contractors
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience, preferably in a civic association, nonprofit, or community-based organization Strong financial management in both cash basis and accrual methods, experience in Quickbooks, ability to timely submit financial information for bookkeeping and tax purposes. Strong organizational skills Experience in planning and executing community programs and events Excellent communication and public relations skills Ability to manage facilities and property operations effectively Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working on-site full time with flexibility to work daytime and evening hours
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
