ROOSEVELT PARK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative and operational leader of the Roosevelt Park Neighborhood Association (RPNA), overseeing organizational management, finances, grants, fundraising, staff supervision, community engagement, and board relations. This full-time exempt position reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Salary & Benefits:
$50,000-$55,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide organizational leadership and implement Board-approved strategic priorities. Manage budgets, financial reporting, audits, payroll, grants, and compliance requirements. Research, prepare, and oversee grants, sponsorships, donor relations, and fundraising initiatives. Supervise staff, support hiring and onboarding, and oversee performance management. Coordinate community engagement programs, neighborhood initiatives, events, and partnerships. Represent RPNA with residents, businesses, elected officials, funders, and community stakeholders. Prepare Board reports, meeting materials, and organizational communications. Oversee vendor contracts, organizational records, and operational compliance.
Qualifications:
Must successfully pass a criminal background check as a condition of employment. Minimum of 3 years of experience of nonprofit management, community development, or related leadership experience. Experience managing budgets, grants, compliance, fundraising, and staff supervision. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Experience with QuickBooks, Gusto, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office preferred. Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed and maintain reliable transportation. Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business, or related field preferred.
