Job Description

Overview Loss of Spouse Sanctuary is a compassionate community organization dedicated to supporting individuals who have experienced the loss of a spouse to death. We offer a Christ-centered environment where widows and widowers find solace, understanding, and rejuvenation. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization with passion for our mission and values, strategic insight, and a commitment to fostering support partner relationships. This pivotal role involves ensuring alignment with mission, goals, and compliance standards in the oversight of all aspects of: program development and management; organizational leadership including work with a volunteer board of directors and organization members; staff management and mentorship; strategic planning; financial management and leadership, including development of support partners and fundraising; community engagement; and marketing, communications and public speaking. Our ideal candidate will be a motivational leader with a proven track record of success in nonprofit management. They will be committed to achieving our goals, and will be a strategic thinker who is able to balance short-term needs with long-term planning. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to represent L.O.S.S. to a variety of audiences. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g. nonprofit management, business administration, social work Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit management or a related field Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated experience in fundraising and development Knowledge of nonprofit financial management and budgeting Ability to work collaboratively with Staff, a Board of Directors, Members, Donors, Sponsors, and other Stakeholders Passion for the organization's mission and values Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Meet, Drive, Documents, Sheets, Voice, and Slides) for communication, data analysis, and presentations Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Join us as an Executive Director if you're passionate about leading impactful programs that can transform lives!
Pay:
$32,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
