Vice President of Philanthropy Location:
Goshen, NY Salary:
$100,000 to $135,000 annually Seeking experienced Vice President of Philanthropy to lead and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that supports the organization's long-term growth and mission. This senior leadership role will focus on major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, capital campaigns, and donor engagement while fostering a strong culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead strategic fundraising initiatives, including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and capital campaigns. Manage and cultivate a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects, including leadership donors and transformational gift opportunities. Partner with the Executive Director, Board, and community volunteers to advance fundraising goals and donor engagement efforts. Oversee development operations, grant support, donor stewardship programs, fundraising events, and planned giving initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of nonprofit fundraising leadership experience managing multi-million-dollar development programs. Proven success cultivating, soliciting, and closing major gifts, including six- and seven-figure contributions. Experience working closely with Boards of Directors and volunteer committees to achieve fundraising objectives. Strong communication, relationship-building, strategic planning, and donor management skills.
