Job Description This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Executive Director provides visionary leadership, strategic direction, and executive oversight for the branch. This role is primarily focused outward, tasked with driving community impact, cultivating philanthropic support, developing a robust advisory board, and forming high-level strategic partnerships. In partnership with the Associate Executive Director, the Executive Director ensures the overall financial sustainability, growth, and mission delivery of the YMCA within the region. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human services, nonprofit management, education, recreation, or a related field. Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible YMCA or nonprofit leadership experience, including program supervision and staff management. Demonstrated ability to lead others, manage operations, and support strategic initiatives. Strong skills in budget development and fiscal management. Experience developing and maintaining community partnerships. Knowledge of YMCA programs and commitment to the Y's mission, values, and diversity, equity & inclusion practices. YMCA Organizational Leader certification is preferred or must be obtained within 24 months. CPR and First Aid certifications may be required.
