Bridges Pointe Inc. is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). We strive to improve the quality of life for our clients through education, advocacy, support services, and community engagement. We are seeking a dynamic leader to build bridges to better health and stronger communities. Opportunity Summary The Executive Director (ED) will serve as the strategic leader and primary representative of Bridges Pointe Inc. This role is designed for a high-energy professional with a proven track record in either non-profit management or professional sales. The primary objective for this position is to drive organizational growth through aggressive fundraising and deep community integration within Durham and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities Fundraising & Donor Relations:
Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with both new and existing partners to secure one-time and continuous donations.
Community Networking:
Serve as the face of the organization within the local Durham community, attending networking events and building strategic alliances.
Strategic Growth:
Implement policies and programs as directed by the Board of Directors to expand the agency's reach.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations and manage volunteers or staff to ensure efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Represent the Organization to external stakeholders and the public to increase awareness of SCD.
Qualifications Professional Background:
Extensive experience in non-profit management or high-level professional sales is required.
Relationship Management:
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships and donor pipelines.
Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present compelling cases for support.
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet strategic deadlines.

Ability to handle sensitive client and organizational information with strict confidentiality.
