Job Description

Position Overview Thrive Asheville is seeking a part-time Organizational Development Assistant to provide administrative, fundraising, and financial support that keeps day-to-day operations running smoothly and helps align them with the organization's short- and long-term goals. This role supports the Executive Director, the Board of Directors, and committees and work groups across the organization, and is well suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling a variety of tasks in a small nonprofit environment. Key Responsibilities Meetings & Events Provide scheduling and logistics support for committees, work groups, the Board, and external programming Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, materials, and related documentation Fundraising & Donor Support Assist with fundraising activities, including preparing contribution acknowledgements Support relationships with funders and donors, including planning for asks and tracking contributions Assist in the planning and production of fundraising events Finance & Administration Provide general finance assistance and fiscal support, including invoice review, in line with the organization's finance policy and nonprofit best practices Support the Executive Director on budgeting, revenue and expense tracking, and audit-related matters Process incoming mail, including weekly pick-up, bill processing, and other correspondence Manage day-to-day administrative tasks and help align daily operations with organizational goals Oversee office resources, vendors, and supplies Board Support Support the Board of Directors in carrying out its duties, including organizing board meetings and coordinating background materials and financial reports Support Board sub-committees as required Provide regular updates to the Board and Executive Committee, and assist with other tasks as they arise Other Complete miscellaneous tasks as determined by the

$24.36 - $30.00 per hour
