- We empower employees to grow The purpose of the position is to lead the development of a regional grant supported project to expand the DeSoto CARE Team model to the Best Southwest Region.
Other duties include maintaining records and reports; developing and preparing information and correspondence; and coordinating efforts with CARE Coordinators and other staff members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Administers grants by complying with all document requirements; reporting financial information; developing tracking mechanisms; ensuring the integrity of all reporting statistics; maintaining required documentation; seeking and preparing grant applications and budget requests; and completing reports. Develops regional partnerships by negotiating operating agreements; outlining service expectations; determining financial contributions; and establishing and facilitating a regional steering committee; Manages a regional board of directors by participating in community planning and collaborative efforts; recruiting volunteers and interns; and researching information on resources and service delivery methods; Maintains program accountability by preparing reports to partners and granting agencies; participating in budget preparation; researching and reporting trends; generating reports and studies; developing and maintaining databases; maintaining current demographics; and researching trends on targeted groups. Secures resources to support operations by partnering with other agencies; managing and coordinating activities, policies, and procedures of the teams working in each partner community; and Performs other assigned duties.Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field; Master s Degree preferred; Five (5) years of related work experience in supervision, grant administration, and working with a regional board or similar policy body, including working with mental or public health administration; experience working in public safety or health related studies preferred; Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience; and Valid Texas Driver s License. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.Similar jobs in DeSoto, TX
