Job Description
The Executive Director serves as the primary leader, advocate, and public representative of Allied Arts of Whatcom County. This role focuses on strengthening the organization's role as a central connector and champion for the arts through partnerships, fundraising, and strategic leadership. The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Directors to guide the organization's vision and sustainability while supporting staff responsible for program implementation. Much of the role involves relationship building across the arts community, civic organizations, and local institutions. The Executive Director also leads the organization's fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor development, and sponsorship cultivation. Key Responsibilities Community Leadership & Advocacy Serve as the primary ambassador for Allied Arts within the community.
