Job Description

One Mission. Many Opportunities. Join the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration mission and ministry. We are seeking a full-time (32-36 hours per week) Mission Advancement Associate to join our team at St. Rose Convent, the spiritual heart and administrative center of FSPA in La Crosse, WI. St. Rose convent is home to the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and the Mary of the Angels Chapel. As the Mission Advancement Associate you will be responsible to impact, advance and sustain FSPA's ministries of prayer, witness and service by assisting with donor relations, communications, advance fundraising efforts, and provide administrative and operational supports to the Mission Advancement department and the Franciscan Spirituality Center. In this role you will be the department's lead for donor database usage and maintenance and will be tasked with managing donor correspondence throughout the year. Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of experience in mission advancement, fundraising efforts or an equivalent role within the non-profit sector Familiarity with fundraising efforts and supporting non-profit leadership and stewardship Experience in administrative support Proficiency in computer programs; Microsoft Office and donor software Attentive to detail and accuracy Able to communicate effectively both in speaking and writing Willing to work in a team environment, coordinating or directing the completion of tasks with others Identifies with, shares in and displays a commitment to the mission, philosophy and values of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration Responsibilities include but not limited to: Represent FSPA at community events, professional membership organizations, conferences, attend committee meetings and serve on boards as needed Manage and maintain the FSPA donor database and ensure the capabilities of the donor database is being utilized Cultivate relationships with donors through letters, phone calls, visits and donor events Plan, implement and manage special projects and appeals Contribute and collaborate long and short range goals for the Mission Advancement Office alongside the Director of Mission Advancement Build and maintain relationships with local organizations to increase visibility of the Mission Advancement department and Franciscan Spirituality Center to build community impact. Coordinate electronic and web-based content with the communications department to ensure the data is relevant to current FSPA ministries An opportunity to foster hospitality and partnership through engaging with donors to build relationships that support Sister's missions and desires a culture that puts relationships first.
