Job Description

Lead CPA / Director of Operations - CPA Firm About Us Rovari Capital is acquiring CPA firms across the Mountain West. We are seeking an experienced CPA to serve as Lead CPA / Director of Operations for one of our first acquisitions. You will work under the current owner during a 6-12 month transition period, then assume responsibility for day-to-day firm operations and technical leadership. This role is ideal for a senior CPA who wants to move beyond the grind of corporate/public accounting and into a leadership position with stability, autonomy, and long-term upside. What You'll Do Train under the current owner to learn firm processes and client base. Oversee tax, accounting, and advisory deliverables. Manage staff and ensure compliance and quality control. Serve as the licensed CPA responsible for sign-off and technical oversight. Maintain strong client relationships and high retention. Report directly to ownership and support growth initiatives. What We're Looking For Licensed CPA with 3-10+ years in public accounting. Strong leadership and management skills. Ability to run day-to-day operations and ensure compliance. Strong client service orientation. Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable in a growing, acquisition-driven environment.
Compensation Base Salary:
$100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience.
Bonus:
Performance-based bonuses tied to firm growth and profitability. Equity Consideration (Optional): Opportunity for minority equity stake based on performance and tenure. Why Join?
