This position is responsible for synchronizing organizational taskings, developing and delivering high‑level executive briefings, and driving cross‑functional stakeholder engagement in support of major Army acquisition programs and strategic initiatives. The incumbent ensures senior leaders are equipped with accurate, timely information and that organizational actions are aligned with Army priorities, statutory requirements, and programmatic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and track all organizational taskers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant responses across the acquisition enterprise. Develop, refine, and deliver high‑level briefings for senior Army leadership, Program Executive Offices (PEOs), and external stakeholders. Coordinate across internal directorates, program offices, and external partners (HQDA, OSD, Joint Staff, industry, and other government agencies) to support strategic synchronization and unified messaging. Oversee information flow, battle rhythm events, and senior leader engagements to maintain operational awareness and decision‑ready information. Provide operational planning support for major program milestones, reviews, and collaborative engagements. Serve as the primary integrator for staff actions, ensuring alignment with acquisition policies, regulations, and program requirements. Maintain and improve internal processes related to task management, knowledge management, and organizational communication. Prepare executive-level correspondence, decision papers, white papers, and strategic communication materials. Identify risks, challenges, and gaps in operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance organizational performance and responsiveness. Mentor junior staff and contribute to a professional, high-performing operations environment.
Required Qualifications:
Experience supporting Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Program Management Offices (PMOs), or other acquisition-focused organizations. Experience with ETMS2 Demonstrated experience in operations, planning, or coordination roles within Army, DoD, or defense acquisition environments. Strong understanding of Army acquisition processes, governance, and milestone requirements. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing senior‑level briefings and executive documents. Proven ability to manage complex taskers, work under tight deadlines, and coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to maintain situational awareness, synthesize information quickly, and support informed decision‑making.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Army staff processes, correspondence formats, and battle rhythm tools. Prior military or government civilian experience in operations or executive support roles. DAWIA or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement training/certification (if applicable).
