At Plethora Businesses, our in-house marketing and business development team generates ~15 qualified founder-owner opportunities weekly, allowing deal professionals to focus on executing transactions, not sourcing them. Since 1998, we've advised lower middle market companies ($5M-$100M enterprise value) across industries including manufacturing, logistics, B2B services, engineering, and technology. The Role As a Senior Associate, you'll lead sell-side transactions end-to-end, acting as both deal quarterback and trusted advisor to founder-owners.
Responsibilities include:
Lead lower-middle-market M&A transactions from engagement through closing Serve as the primary strategic advisor and relationship manager to business owners Oversee valuation analyses, transaction positioning, and preparation of offering materials Develop and execute buyer outreach strategies to create competitive transaction environments Lead all negotiations involving IOIs, LOIs, purchase agreements, working capital adjustments, and key transaction terms Manage due diligence, coordinate third-party advisors, and oversee transaction execution Anticipate and resolve transaction issues while maintaining deal momentum and maximizing client outcomes Why Plethora Our platform delivers consistent, qualified deal flow so you can focus on running transactions—not prospecting. Qualifications 5+ years in M&A, IB, or transaction advisory Strong sell-side experience and ability to manage multiple deals Series 79 or 7 + 63 or 65 required Bachelor's degree (CA real estate license a plus) Strong communication and organizational skills Compensation $120K (DOE), Uncapped commissions Transaction bonuses and deal incentives 401(k) and health benefits Long-term growth opportunities
