Richmond, CA Hourly Range:
$20-$30 AAK Richmond About the role The Continuous Improvement Intern will support operations and process improvement initiatives by helping organize, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and related documentation within the Acadia system. This role will work closely with operators, supervisors, and cross functional teams to ensure procedures accurately reflect current operating practices. The intern will also gain hands on exposure to manufacturing operations and develop a broader understanding of key production processes. Responsibilities The duties of the Continuous Improvement Intern include but are not limited to: Import SOP's and other documents into the Acadia system Work with operators to ensure current SOP's are accurate and up to date. Develop and upload new documents into the Acadia system as needed Develop an overall understanding of the operations Processes.
About you Qualifications include:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or a related field Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly Good written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working with operators, supervisors, and cross functional teams Ability to learn new systems and follow document control procedures Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to ask questions Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Interest in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, process documentation, or quality systems In return AAK offer Hands on industry experience Competitive compensation Mentorship from an industry professional Exposure to industry specific tools, technologies, and processes Networking opportunities within the company and industry About AAK Everything AAK does is about Making Better Happen™.
