This position is for a Facility Engineer that supports the Global Positioning System (GPS) Control Segment Sustainment (GCS) program in Colorado Springs. Candidate must have the ability to perform tasks related to overall management and operations of a Customer leased facility to include maintenance, material inventory energy management, facility repair, preventative maintenance and vendor / construction oversite. Candidate must have the ability to work in a team-oriented setting to achieve goals and targets in a fast paced schedule driven environment. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively, and provide status to program management as required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Interim Secret Clearance is required prior to starting employment.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in property management operation skills inclusive of construction and engineering management, facility management, and environment, safety, and health Have a sound understanding of the complex and dynamic roles of all personnel involved in design, planning, and construction phases. Experience managing small to medium construction and/or engineering projects within schedule and budget. Ability to provide off-hour support/coverage for special facility projects and any emergencies Effective written and verbal communication skills. General mechanical inclination Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Ability to lift 50lbs on occasion Ability to secure and maintain a US Government /

DOD Secret Clearance Desired Skills:

Bachelor's degree in project management, maintenance, or engineering discipline Certification in facility management, construction management, engineering, or similar technical area Business acumen - budgeting, planning, forecasting, capital expenditures Basic computer repair skills Knowledge of LM Space procurement processes Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and prints

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
