Golf Greenskeeper Pay Rate:
$20.66 / hour
Job Summary:

This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests. We are seeking experienced team members to join our Grounds Team to assist in ensuring the caliber of our golf course is maintained with meticulous detail. The Broadmoor Golf Club is consistently ranked among the best in the world. Our two iconic courses were designed by some of golf's greatest names, and have played host to numerous national tournaments, including the U.S. Women's Open, U.S. Senior Open, and PGA Cup Matches. This role will not only be responsible for maintaining our golf grounds but will assist in ensuring The Broadmoor continues to have distinctive courses that stand out above the rest. What you will be doing:
Mow roughs and fairways areas at designated cut, exercising care not to injure turf or shrubs Operate string trimmer and/or rotary mower to mow trim areas. Rake bunkers by hand or operate mechanical rake Course set up for daily play including cutting hole locations Perform jobs as trained by supervision and in a safe manner Perform cultural practices including aerification and topdressing. Maintain assigned equipment in clean and operational manner Hand water and syringing turf areas Prune and trim trees and shrubs Sod and seed Assist with landscape and drainage projects, maintain needle beds and landscape areas. Clean-up course including operation of various blowers and hand raking when needed Recognize problem areas on golf Courses including areas that maybe too dry or wet, pests identification including weeds, insects and turf areas. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. What we are looking for:
High school diploma or GED. Previous experience working or maintaining a Golf Course preferred. Knowledge of the game of golf preferred Valid U.S. Driver's License Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or old Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others. Strong interpersonal communication skills Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
