POSITION TITLE

Intern - Manufacturing

POSITION OVERVIEW

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting real business priorities within Process Improvement. The intern will contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop skills aligned to professional growth and business impact. This role is designed to provide practical experience in a fast-paced environment while building foundational capabilities in problem solving, communication, and teamwork. This internship is a full-time (40 hours/week), paid position that is 11-12 weeks in length during the summer of 2027, located at our Live Oak location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Support day-to-day activities and key projects within the Process Improvement Manage a manufacturing related project for results

Determine solutions using continuous improvement techniques

Demonstrate creative thinking by identifying unique approaches to problem solving

Communicate effectively one-to-one and one-to-a-group Work effectively with a diverse group of people to implement project improvements

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

Candidates with or working toward a BS Strong user of Microsoft Office suite of products, with advanced Excel skills.

Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills. Working towards a BS degree

Able to participate in the Intern Leadership Forum in Spartanburg, SC

Able to participate in the final presentation review in August in Spartanburg, SC

QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED

Prior internship, project, or relevant experience

Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial engineering major or related field
