- m•oving Division•is hiring a Value Chain Process Improvement Engineer to lead data-driven value stream analysis, build predictive performance models and simulate and optimize outcomes.
Role Summary:

Business Process Design:
- Knowledge of business process design; ability to developappropriate techniquesto re-examine key processes and focus onoptimizingorganizational performance. +
Business Process Improvement:
- Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods foridentifying, evaluating,introducingand implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities. +
Process Management:
- Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes. +
Analytical Thinking:
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability todeterminethe root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. +
Effective Communications:
- Understanding of effective communication concepts,toolsand techniques; ability to effectivelytransmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application ofappropriate communicationbehaviors. +
Problem Solving:
- Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing,anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. +
- Process
Mapping/Flowcharting:
- Knowledge of the concepts of process mapping; ability to carry out the documentation of current and proposed manufacturing processes toidentifyand make improvements. +
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
- Knowledge of the concepts,principlesand techniques of root cause analysis (RCA); ability to use a structured approach toidentifythe causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences.
- Top Candidates Will Also Have
- + Experience using AI with Data Sets toidentifyopportunities and/or drive efficiency improvements. Experience creating AI agents + Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, LCP I, LCPIIand VAVE. + Ability to work across the end-to-end value stream to improve efficiency.

25%(International and Domestic) + This position requires 5 days per week in the office (M-F)Summary Pay Range:
- $128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
