About the Role Aston Carter is partnering with a large, well-established manufacturing client to identify a Continuous Improvement Lean Manager to drive plant-wide performance initiatives. This individual will focus on eliminating waste, optimizing workflows, and advancing operational excellence across the site. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams, this role will lead high-impact Lean projects from concept through execution. This is a hands-on role for a change agent who can influence teams, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver measurable results—without direct reports. Key Responsibilities Drive Strategic Continuous Improvement Partner with Plant Leadership to align site initiatives with Global Supply Chain and Corporate CI objectives Lead high-impact Lean and Six Sigma projects delivering scalable cost savings and operational gains Develop and implement solutions to address complex operational and efficiency challenges Deliver Data-Driven Operational Excellence Analyze plant performance metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities Lead process optimization efforts including time studies, workflow redesign, and SOP development Recommend capital improvements to enhance visibility, efficiency, and performance Build a Culture of Continuous Improvement Act as a change leader to elevate CI maturity across the organization Lead Kaizen events, 5S, Kanban, and root cause analysis initiatives Coach teams on CI tools, methodologies, and best practices Enable Sustainable Adoption & Standardization Develop communication and rollout strategies to sustain improvements Standardize best practices and replicate successful solutions across sites Drive adoption of effective standard work Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field Experience 5+ years leading Lean transformation initiatives 3+ years applying continuous improvement and operational excellence methodologies Technical Expertise Experience with Lean tools including: Root Cause Analysis 5S Value Stream Mapping Kaizen Kanban Gemba Walks TPM Skills Strong project management, analytical, and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Crown Point, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
