Organization Information The Fairview Independent School District is located on the Ohio River in Boyd County, Kentucky. It encompasses a residential area, Westwood. It has no incorporated local government but comes under the authority of the county judge executive and commission, with a population of approximately 4400 residents. The Fairview Independent School District has approximately 700 students in Pre-K through 12th Grade. Educators often describe our district as a place where everyone feels like family and is committed to a common vision where students receive our absolute best! As a result of the district's reorganization and improved finances, positions have been added in our district as we continue to focus on the "whole child" and meeting the individual needs of each student so that they will reach their individual highest level of achievement.
