Job Description
Operations/Research Analyst, Senior
The Operations/Research Analyst, Senior provides comprehensive research and analysis support for the task order for the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM); Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center; Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate.
Responsibilities
- Manages and directs the analyses of management problems, performs cost analyses and modeling, provides information requirements and formulates scientific solutions as directed.
- Supports program reviews, meetings, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Provide cost estimating expertise to all personnel, at all organizational levels, on matters pertaining to the development, availability, and application of cost analysis methodology.
- Prepare, develop and review program office estimates (POEs).
- Provide guidance and review of Government Cost Estimates.
- Conduct cost studies to facilitate the development of acquisition documentation for all aspects of lifecycle management.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the execution of Army and Department of Defense cost-saving efforts (i.e., Will/Should Cost initiatives).
- Prepare and review miscellaneous cost reports provided to senior level management.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 10 years experience and/or AS/AA or 2yr Tech School; or HS/GED w/ 15 years or military experience E5 and up
- Knowledgeable with Department of Defense cost policies (e.g., DoDI 5000.73) as well as component policies (e.g., Department of the Army's Cost Analysis Manual).
