In this role, you will drive operational excellence by analyzing supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing innovative solutions to optimize warehouse distribution, transportation management, and overall logistics performance. Your expertise will empower us to enhance inventory control, streamline shipping and receiving, and elevate customer service levels. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence supply chain strategies through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring our logistics operations are agile, cost-effective, and aligned with industry best practices. Duties Analyze supply chain data using tools such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across warehouse operations and transportation planning. Lead root cause analysis initiatives to resolve recurring issues related to inventory management, shipping logistics, and materials handling. Collaborate with procurement, vendor management, and category management teams to optimize sourcing strategies and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and 3PL providers. Develop and implement process improvements within warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and transportation management systems (TMS) to enhance efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to freight costs, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and demand planning accuracy; report findings using dashboards created in Tableau or similar tools. Support inventory control initiatives by analyzing stocking levels, demand forecasts, and production planning data to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory. Facilitate cross-functional communication between logistics teams, customer service departments, and international trade compliance units to ensure seamless operations and adherence to trade regulations. Skills Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, and supply chain analytics tools like Tableau. Extensive experience with warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, materials handling, inventory management systems (IMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS). Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing strategies, vendor management experience, pricing negotiations, and freight management. Familiarity with transportation planning tools such as TMS software; understanding of NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations is a plus. Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively while driving process improvements across complex supply chain environments. Hands-on experience with manual handling equipment such as forklifts; familiarity with warehouse operations is essential. Expertise in international trade regulations and trade compliance requirements for global logistics operations. Strong communication skills for collaborating across functions including supply chain management, customer service, procurement, and vendor relations. Experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on inventory control, shipping logistics, demand planning, or freight optimization.
