Greensboro, NC, Chandler, AZ, Dallas, TX Type:
Full Time Department:
BFSI 1 Job Summary This role is focused on operational analysis, systematic diagnostic, mapping, and structural redesign of banking workflows. By bridging the gap between back-office operations and technology teams Responsibilities Interacting directly with specific banking units to interview stakeholders, trace workflows, document current-state processes, Create formal end-to-end process maps to support downstream digital transformation and automation. Identifying handoffs, friction points and collaborating with other teams to deliver highly scalable, optimized operations Collaborate with offshore teams to develop and validate the flows, simulate and test. Leverage Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to identify non-value-added steps, systemic bottlenecks, manual workarounds, and operational friction points that delay time to decision for borrowers. Gather and analyze baseline volume data, cycle times, and error rates to quantify the business impact of current-state inefficiencies. Collaborate with technology and delivery teams to co-design scalable, friction-free To-Be process models that reduce unit costs and compress turnaround times.
Mapping Tooling:
Proficiency in platform modeling and visualization tools like Miro, Signavio, Microsoft Visio, or Hopex Eligibility Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in business process analysis, operational excellence, process reengineering, business transformation, or related disciplines. Experience within banking, lending, mortgage, financial services, or regulated operational environments preferred. Demonstrated experience mapping complex operational workflows and documenting current-state and future-state processes. Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred. Experience collaborating with technology, product, operations, and offshore delivery teams.
