Job Description:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team in Lexington NC, United States. In this pivotal role, you'll drive operational excellence by identifying, planning, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across our organization. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you'll be the catalyst for positive change, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to challenge the status quo and deliver measurable results. Your analytical mindset, combined with your passion for continuous improvement, will help us optimize our operations and achieve our strategic goals. Develop and maintain high-quality Standard Work and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents using advanced tools such as SharePoint and Excel Identify, plan, lead, and implement plant improvement activities and Kaizen events, ensuring successful execution and follow-up Conduct root cause analysis on quality, safety, and process-related problems, documenting findings and recommendations transparently Track and analyze performance data, maintaining accurate metrics and performance boards to support data-driven decision-making Facilitate and lead continuous improvement training programs, including Lean methodologies, to build organizational capability Perform regular audits and process assessments, reporting results during production meetings and management reviews Collaborate with production teams, management, and cross-functional departments to understand challenges and co-develop solutions Demonstrate critical thinking and professional assertiveness in challenging existing processes and proposing innovative alternatives Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all documentation, ensuring grammatical accuracy, technical precision, and usability Support safety incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence Work flexibly around manufacturing equipment and production schedules, including occasional overtime as needed Maintain organized records of improvement initiatives, timelines, and outcomes for continuous tracking and reporting Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated knowledge in SharePoint for document creation and management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Proficiency with technical platforms and computer skills Capability to read, interpret, and understand production documents and safety manuals Reliable, punctual, and organized with exceptional follow-through Positive, professional attitude with a commitment to excellence Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional overtime Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and machinery •
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial production or manufacturing environments preferred.
Certification or formal training in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies Experience facilitating or leading process improvement initiatives Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and visualization Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation Background in data tracking, performance metrics, and process reporting Experience developing Standard Work and operational documentation Project management experience or certification Knowledge of safety compliance and incident investigation procedures Proven track record of driving organizational change and innovation Equal Employment Opportunity MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
