Operations Analyst About Ready 3 Ready 3 is a rapidly growing aerospace and defense company delivering innovative engineering, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, logistics, and program management solutions to government and commercial customers. Our team is passionate about solving complex challenges while building technologies that improve mission readiness and operational efficiency. Position Overview Ready 3 is seeking a mid-level Operations Analyst to support the Director of Operations in the daily management of corporate operations. This role is central to keeping the business running smoothly: tracking operational performance, coordinating across programs and functional teams, maintaining reporting and business rhythms, and driving process improvements. Operating in a government contracting environment, the Operations Analyst will help ensure that corporate operations, program execution support, and compliance activities stay on schedule and aligned with company objectives. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable moving between data, documents, and people to get things done. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the Director of Operations in planning, coordinating, and executing daily corporate operations across the company. Develop, maintain, and improve operational dashboards, trackers, and recurring reports covering program status, staffing, deliverables, and key performance indicators.
Coordinate the corporate battle rhythm:
schedule and prepare operations reviews and leadership meetings, build agendas and briefing materials, capture action items, and track them to closure. Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; prepare findings and recommendations for the Director of Operations and executive leadership. Support contract operations, including monitoring period-of-performance milestones, deliverable schedules, and contract data requirements in coordination with program and contracts staff. Assist with resource and staffing management, including onboarding coordination, seat/asset tracking, and maintaining personnel rosters and org charts. Draft, maintain, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and corporate policies. Support proposal and business development activities as needed, including data calls, past-performance inputs, and coordination of internal reviews. Coordinate with finance, HR, security, and contracts functions to resolve operational issues and keep cross-functional efforts on track. Support compliance and audit readiness activities, including maintaining records and artifacts required under government contracts. Handle special projects and time-sensitive taskings on behalf of the Director of Operations with minimal supervision. Qualifications Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent additional experience). U.S. citizenship for positions supporting government customers. Experience handling sensitive business, personnel, and/or contract information. Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. security clearance, when required. Experience with government contracting, aerospace, defense, or advanced technology programs is a plus. PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar process/project certifications preferred.
