Hiring Department:
The Operational Readiness Team drives business process improvements optimizing people process and technology to improve customer experience and realize meaningful cost containment.
Co-op Job Description:
Support the Operational Readiness Team with analytics, quality assurance testing and reporting, tracking and trending of issues to effectuate Business Optimization & Cost Containment for the organization. Investigate claims processing and requests claims adjustments for AmeriHealth member and provider appeals. Evaluate billing and enrollment challenges to determine root cause and resolution. Perform root cause analysis to determine appropriate issue resolution across enterprise Develop spreadsheets for tracking and trending issues/business challenges Analyze claims utilization data and identify areas for cost savings improvement. Research inquiries concerning claims, billing and enrollment. Provide technical guidance and analytical claims support for various AHNJ business units including but not limited to Health Services, Sales Finance, Network Services and Product. Support cost containment projects and corporate initiatives by participating on various project teams. Assist with identifying par and non-participating provider issues and work closely Assumes additional duties as requested.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Preferred Power BI skills Interpersonal and effective communication skills of significant value.

Junior or Senior undergraduate students Recent graduate (must be within one year or less of the program start date)
