Job Description
Job Summary The Continuous Improvement Analyst supports operational performance in the egg grading facility by using data, reporting, and structured problem-solving to identify opportunities, improve processes, and sustain measurable results. This role partners with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze performance, support improvement projects, strengthen reporting, and promote a culture of accountability, efficiency, safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Analyze operational data from Power BI, NetSuite, Excel, grading systems, and other business tools to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and performance measures that provide clear visibility to plant results. Support continuous-improvement projects that improve throughput, labor efficiency, yield, downtime, cost, quality, safety, and service performance. Use structured problem-solving tools such as root-cause analysis, 5 Whys, Pareto analysis, process mapping, standard work, 5S, and visual management. Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, HR, and plant leadership to implement and sustain process improvements. Evaluate egg grading and packaging performance, including product flow, grade-out, yield, breakage, rework, downtime, inventory accuracy, and material usage. Support safety, food safety, quality, compliance, audit, and corrective-action activities by using data to identify recurring issues and preventive solutions. Improve reporting processes, system use, data accuracy, documentation, and standard work to reduce manual effort and improve decision-making. Facilitate performance reviews, track action plans, communicate findings, and verify that improvement initiatives achieve expected results. Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, food processing, agricultural processing, operations, supply chain, business analysis, or continuous improvement. Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite or another ERP system, and analysis of operational data. Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, root-cause analysis, standard work, 5S, visual management, and structured problem-solving methods. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, communicate findings, and recommend practical improvement actions. Strong communication, organization, facilitation, follow-up, and project-management skills. Knowledge of egg grading, food manufacturing, safety, food safety, quality, sanitation, or regulated production environments preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Labor Analysis, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of relevant education, technical training, and progressively responsible experience may be considered. Lean, Six Sigma, Power BI, NetSuite, project-management, or continuous-improvement certification is preferred.
