Plastics injection molding Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Advanced Quality Planner (AQP) to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive quality management strategies within our operations. This pivotal role involves designing, maintaining, and improving quality systems to ensure products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. The AQP will collaborate across departments to drive quality excellence, uphold regulatory requirements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Duties Responsible for the quality process development of interior trim components as scheduled within the Novem Product Development Process (PEP) in one or more projects. Assure compliance with Novem Quality Policy & Guidelines and the procedures of the IATF based Management System. Meet all relevant legal, customer and group requirements for area of responsibility. Works on projects from kick off until project closure in global team environment (internal, suppliers, customers). Develops product quality to meet all project requirements and customer expectations. Develops supplier product quality processes until completed PPAP and run at rate. Develops gage concepts and gages until completed third party certification and GR&R. Manages customer approvals of the deco surface appearance. Develops internal and customer quality processes until completed PPAP and run at rate. Maintains accurate project records within the Product Development Process (PEP), reports quality process status internally and to customers. Provides support for all other processes defined in the Product Development Process (PEP) to optimize the project outcomes. Works in PDCA cycle to meet project quality milestones on time within the Product Development Process (PEP). Contributes to standardization and continuous improvement of the Novem business processes. Has discipline to adhere to all business process requirements. Solves project quality problems effectively in global team environment. Experience 3-5 years minimum experience in automotive trim components with a strong focus on quality systems implementation and maintenance. Experience with wood and plastic injection molding required. PEP applicable quality tools and techniques like DVP&R, GD&T, PPAP, Gage development, appearance reviews, SPC/ process capability studies, process control plans and corrective actions Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting findings clearly. Multiple OEM specifications, standards and quality systems / project management tools experience required. Project management experience is needed to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively.

$92,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
