Job Description:
Virtera Partners LLC is a boutique investment management firm for ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, and sophisticated investors, specializing in institutional-quality alternative investments. Role Overview Virtera Partners is searching for an Investment Operations Analyst to help build and scale the operations of the firm. The right person is detail-oriented, resourceful, and driven, and will find real opportunity to grow in an entrepreneurial firm. Key Responsibilities Produce performance and portfolio reports for family office clients and the investment team. Support the investment team with analysis and ongoing monitoring of investments. Lead rebalancing and portfolio allocation discussions for both clients and funds. Manage new custodial account openings and ongoing account maintenance. Process subscriptions and redemptions for private investment funds. Assist with operational and legal due diligence for new investments. Oversee the firm's outsourced fund administrator, including reviewing fund accounting, investor capital activity, and investor reporting. Assist with trade execution, allocation, and reconciliation for internally managed strategies. Identify operational gaps and design new processes. Attributes, Skills & Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail; takes pride in producing clean, accurate, high-quality work. Resourceful and self-directed; able to figure out hard problems independently. Strong growth mindset; seeks out new responsibilities and thrives in an entrepreneurial culture. Intellectually curious; enjoys learning new things and is genuinely interested in investments. High integrity and discretion; comfortable handling sensitive client and firm information. Strong Excel skills and comfort building tools and models from scratch. 2 to 5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, audit, or investment operations preferred. Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance. Prior investment industry experience is a plus but not required. Compensation This position is salaried with full benefits and discretionary bonus.
