The Operations Support Analyst supports P&C Apex Consulting LLC in evaluating and improving client administrative and operational processes. This project-based role works directly within client environments to observe workflows, document current processes, conduct structured stakeholder interviews, collect operational data, and identify areas requiring further analysis. The Analyst works closely with the Principal Consultant and serves as an on-site resource during client engagements. The role focuses on accurately documenting how work is currently performed, how responsibilities are distributed, where handoffs occur, and where operational gaps or inconsistencies may exist. This is a part-time, temporary position with hours scheduled primarily during client business hours based on project needs. Some documentation and project support activities may be completed remotely. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site observations of administrative and operational workflows during client business hours Conduct structured interviews and process walkthroughs with client employees and supervisors Document current-state workflows, task ownership, handoffs, dependencies, and escalation points Collect workload, transaction volume, processing time, staffing, and other operational data needed for analysis Identify and document observed process duplication, bottlenecks, unclear responsibilities, inconsistent practices, and workflow gap Track how documents, requests, forms, and other work items move from initiation through completion Assist with development and validation of current-state process maps and responsibility matrices Review existing procedures, job aids, forms, policies, and other operational documentation Maintain organized and detailed assessment notes and supporting documentation Provide regular findings and field observations to the Principal Consultant Conduct follow-up observations and interviews when additional information or validation is required Assist with project coordination, documentation, and implementation activities as assigned Maintain strict confidentiality of client, employee, operational, and other sensitive information Follow all client-site privacy, security, and information-handling requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Project Management, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or currently enrolled and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field Official or unofficial college transcripts required to verify completed or in-progress education One or more years of experience in operations, administrative support, project coordination, business operations, process improvement, or a related professional environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to document detailed processes accurately Ability to observe business operations objectively and identify inconsistencies or process gaps Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, supervisors, and client leadership Ability to conduct structured interviews and ask effective follow-up questions Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other common business productivity tools Ability to organize and analyze operational information from multiple sources Ability to work independently in a client environment while following established project methodology Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, professionalism, and follow-through Ability to travel to client locations within the Central Valley during scheduled project hours Availability during weekday business hours for scheduled client-site assignments Preferred Qualifications Management, Operations, Project Management, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or process mapping, responsibility matrices, standard operating procedures, workflow documentation, and project measurement or performance tracking Previous consulting, project support, business analyst,
