The core responsibilities of Bank Operations are providing accurate, secure, and efficient execution of the firm's day-to-day cash transactions. In addition to transaction processing, Bank Operations partners closely with client advisors and technology teams to improve workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and support a high-quality client experience. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities and qualifications. Responsibilities Process and monitor recurring cash transactions, ensuring timely and accurate execution in accordance with client instructions Handle check deposits, including verification, posting, and reconciliation of incoming funds Issue and process official checks, ensuring proper authorization, documentation, and delivery Review transactions for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies and exceptions as needed Maintain detailed records of all transactions in accordance with internal policies and audit standards Partner with client service teams and other internal groups to address inquiries and support client requests Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, risk, controls, and operational procedures Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational risk Willing to work overtime and maintain in-office flexibility as business needs require Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) 1-3 years of experience in banking operations, cash management, or a related role Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment Solid understanding of banking processes and transaction workflows preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with banking systems Execute responsibilities with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and priority Strong interpersonal skills to work well in a team environment
Additional Information Location:
Woodbridge, New Jersey Technical proficiency: Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
System familiarity:
Required to become acquainted with Bessemer applications upon hire, training provided.
Preferred qualifications:
Candidates with experience with bank operations The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. In addition, this position may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, and other compensation programs as applicable. Eligible employees may participate in a 401(k) program with a generous profit-sharing contribution, medical, prescription dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; disability coverage; paid holidays; vacation; and sick time, subject to plan terms and Company policies.
