US Citizens & Green Card Holders Only Position Overview We are seeking a Retail Operations Analyst / Territory Manager to support retail partner relationships and field operations across Illinois. This role is highly field-oriented and requires strong relationship management, problem-solving, communication, and territory ownership skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with retail partners, store management, sales teams, or field operations and be comfortable managing a large geographic territory with limited day-to-day supervision. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for local retail account management and partner relationship support. Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, district leaders, regional contacts, Sales, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional teams . Respond to partner questions, concerns, requests, and complaints with urgency and professionalism. Resolve issues at the local level and determine when escalation is required. Partner with Sales and Quality Assurance teams to address retail partner concerns and ensure timely resolution. Develop and conduct regular business reviews with store-level partners. Communicate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual initiative progress to internal and external stakeholders. Identify opportunities to strengthen partner relationships and improve business results. Work with Sales teams to identify opportunities to expand NRG's staffing footprint within approved retail locations. Identify opportunities to increase sales capacity through staffing placement, staffed hours/days, and store events. Maintain accurate records in field management and CRM systems, including Salesforce and Badger Mapping . Independently manage territory priorities, follow-ups, schedules, and administrative responsibilities. Support assigned projects and cross-functional initiatives while maintaining accountability and confidentiality. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree OR 2-3 years of relevant experience . 2-3 years of relevant retail, field operations, territory management, account management, or sales experience preferred. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong relationship-building, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business technology. Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM is preferred. Must be comfortable managing a large geographic territory. Preferred Experience Field account management experience. Experience supporting large-format retail partners . Experience managing geographically dispersed retail locations. Experience working with store managers, district managers, or regional leadership. Experience conducting business reviews and presenting business updates. Experience identifying opportunities to improve sales capacity, staffing, or store performance. Salesforce experience. Travel Requirements This is a heavily field-based position. Approximately 70-90% travel required. Approximately 80% field-based work / 20% home office . Significant driving and regular air travel may be required. Must be comfortable visiting retail stores year-round, including walking and extended time in the field. Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility based on client availability, travel, and business needs.
