Job Summary The Senior Middle Office Analyst will support the onboarding, validation, and ongoing data integrity of F&G's $70+ billion investment portfolio. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring that new and existing investments fixed income securities are accurately set up, maintained, and reconciled within the firm's accounting system of record. The position partners closely with external asset managers and internal teams including Investment Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Investment Strategy to investigate and resolve data discrepancies, support reporting accuracy, and maintain high-quality investment data throughout the trade lifecycle. This role reports to the Manager, Middle Office and contributes to process improvements across onboarding and reconciliation workflows. Duties and Responsibilities Support the end-to-end investment onboarding process, with a focus on public and private fixed income securities Review and validate Security Master data for new investments, ensuring accurate setup and proper data flow into the accounting system Perform detailed reconciliations between external managers, custodians, and the accounting system to ensure completeness and accuracy of positions, cash flows, and security attributes Investigate and resolve data breaks, discrepancies, and exceptions in a timely manner, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders Maintain oversight of investment data quality, including monitoring and validating key attributes such as asset grouping and statutory accounting classifications. Assist with quarterly valuation support for private fixed income securities, including data validation and variance analysis Respond to ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders with a focus on data accuracy and completeness Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, transparency, and control within onboarding and reconciliation processes Partner with team members to ensure cross-training and consistent execution of core middle office functions Experience and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business 3-7 years of relevant experience in middle office, investment operations, or investment accounting (insurance or asset management preferred) Strong understanding of fixed income instruments and how they are represented within accounting or investment systems Hands-on experience with investment onboarding, security master data, and reconciliation processes Experience with Clearwater Analytics or similar investment accounting platforms preferred Experience with data analysis tools or business intelligence platforms is a plus Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity Solid understanding of the fixed income investment lifecycle, including trade capture, settlement, valuation, and reporting Proven ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve complex data issues Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team environment Understanding of how investment data impacts downstream consumers including accounting, reporting, and analytics Other Requirements Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Regular and punctual attendance Some travel may be required (less than 10%) #LI-JB1 #LI-Remote Additional Information Work Environments F&G believes in an employee-centric flexible environment, which is why we offer the ability for in-office, hybrid and remote work arrangements.
