Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Continuous Improvement Manager to lead manufacturing excellence initiatives across our production facilities. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate continuous improvement projects utilizing methodologies such as Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to optimize production workflows and reduce waste. Conduct root cause analysis on process deviations, equipment failures, and quality issues to identify underlying problems and develop effective corrective actions. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely execution of improvement initiatives while aligning with overall production goals. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement process enhancements using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD, including schematics and industrial automation systems. Oversee the integration of robotics, CNC machines, vision inspection systems, and other industrial equipment into manufacturing processes for increased automation and precision. Facilitate cross-functional teamwork among production, engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, measure performance improvements, and support strategic decision-making in process engineering and factory operations. Requirements Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on process improvement and manufacturing optimization. Strong knowledge of Lean management principles, Six Sigma methodologies, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and industrial automation systems. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to develop detailed project schedules and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD; experience with schematics design for industrial equipment is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with robotics programming, CNC machining, welding techniques, fabrication processes, and assembly line operations. Familiarity with engineering troubleshooting techniques involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), vision inspection systems, CAM programming, and industrial equipment diagnostics. Strong analytical skills in engineering data analysis combined with excellent team leadership capabilities to motivate cross-functional teams toward shared goals. Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus; experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments is essential.
