Job Title:
Broker Operations Analyst Position Summary The Broker Operations Analyst supports daily trading operations within the domestic crude oil market. This role is responsible for trade execution support, market analysis, reporting, and maintaining accurate transaction records while collaborating closely with brokers and clients. Key Responsibilities Prepare and distribute intra-day internal market recaps Maintain and update market contact databases Generate and manage reports for internal stakeholders and client delivery Accurately enter trades into company systems/platforms and produce required reports Update market capitalization reports across designated markets Assist brokers with real-time transaction documentation and reporting Input and manage trades in E-Confirm Respond to client inquiries Investigate and resolve unmatched trades Report trades to Argus Americas Input, track, and maintain Argus data for analysis Develop market analyses and insights as needed Clear trades through appropriate exchange portals Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance documentation for exchange-traded products Qualifications & Skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced trading environment Effective communication skills for client and internal interaction Interest in financial markets, specifically crude oil and commodities trading Preferred Qualifications Understanding of crude oil pricing mechanisms and infrastructure Knowledge of domestic crude markets Progress toward or willingness to obtain Series 3 License Professional Development Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Broker role in the crude oil market Develop expertise in commodity trading operations and reporting Education Bachelor's degree Required (Preferably in Finance or Marketing)
