Onsite Overview System One is in search of a Site Continuous Improvement Manager for a privately held company to join their team in Longview, TX. This position leads and supports continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational and operational excellence objectives. Responsibilities Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational and operational excellence objectives. Partner with plant and operations leaders to identify performance gaps and develop improvement plans. Facilitate improvement activities, including process reviews, improvement workshops, and hands-on improvement events focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Coach leaders and frontline employees on continuous improvement principles, standard work, and structured problem-solving methods. Support the development and maintenance of standardized processes, documentation, and work practices. Analyze operational performance data and metrics to track progress and communicate results. Identify opportunities for cost savings, productivity improvement, and process stability while ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements. Support change management efforts by promoting continuous improvement behaviors, employee engagement, and accountability. Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations environments, including supporting or leading continuous improvement initiatives, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience supporting multi-site operations is preferred. Knowledge of continuous improvement and operational excellence principles. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams through collaboration and coaching. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data. Understanding of operational performance metrics and process improvement methodologies. Effective project management skills focusing on execution and sustainability. Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels. Ability to support change initiatives and build credibility with leaders and frontline teams. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical improvement solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Frequent interaction with leaders, supervisors, and production employees. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during manufacturing floor visits. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds as required. Ability to travel periodically to support operational improvement activities.
