Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Ops Center Engineer Intern to join our IT Operations team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting enterprise technology services, monitoring critical systems, analyzing operational data, and contributing to service reliability initiatives. As an Ops Center Engineer Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers and service management professionals to gain practical experience in IT operations, incident management, ServiceNow platform reporting, Power BI analytics, and operational process improvement. What You'll Do Monitor enterprise systems and operational dashboards to identify service issues and trends. Assist with alert triage, incident management, and escalation activities. Support operational communications and documentation during service events. Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and reports that provide actionable insights to leadership and operational teams. Analyze ServiceNow platform data to identify trends, measure performance, and support operational decision-making. Research opportunities for process improvement, automation, and workflow optimization. Participate in team meetings, operational reviews, and cross-functional projects. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and service owners to improve service reliability and customer experience. Required Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field. or within one year of your graduations date. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience with Power BI, data visualization, or business intelligence tools. Familiarity with ServiceNow or IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts. Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, SQL, or related analytical tools. Interest in IT operations, system monitoring, incident response, and operational excellence. What You'll Gain Real-world experience supporting enterprise IT operations.
