Hourly, non-exempt (full-time) Job Purpose ALKEME is seeking a Junior Analyst•AI & Operational Reporting to support the development of operational insights across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, AI tools, and business operations, helping turn raw data into actionable reporting that drives performance. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their career who is comfortable working with data, curious about AI tools, and interested in learning how analytics can directly impact business outcomes—especially within the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Reporting & Analytics Build, maintain, and enhance operational reports across sales, service, and agency performance Analyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement Support recurring reporting processes (weekly, monthly, quarterly) Work with stakeholders to define reporting needs and translate them into dashboards or outputs 2. AI & Tool Utilization Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate analysis, reporting, and workflow automation Assist in developing lightweight AI-driven workflows to improve reporting efficiency Continuously explore new tools and methods to enhance productivity and output quality 3. Data Management & Quality Assist in cleaning, structuring, and validating data from multiple internal sources Identify inconsistencies or duplication in reporting data and propose solutions Support ongoing improvements to data pipelines and reporting accuracy 4. Business Collaboration Partner with operations, sales leadership, and other teams to support decision-making Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders Develop a working understanding of insurance operations and key performance metrics Qualifications Education & Experience 0-3 years of experience in analytics, reporting, operations, or related field Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets Basic understanding of data analysis concepts (aggregations, trends, KPIs) Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data simply Exposure to SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus Basic understanding of insurance or financial services is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience working with large datasets or operational reporting Curiosity about AI and automation in business workflows Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Success Metrics Accuracy and timeliness of operational reporting Ability to identify insights that drive measurable operational improvements Effective use of AI tools to increase speed and efficiency Stakeholder satisfaction and trust in reporting outputs Working Conditions Primarily office-based role with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Must be able to pull or lift up to 15 pounds at times and may require extended hours during peak renewal periods.
