Sabert will not commence an employment-based immigration case to fill this open position Position Summary This position will be responsible for evaluating, recommending, and improving operational processes by eliminating product/process variability and increasing manufacturing quality, productivity and other related operational performance measures. This role identifies potential efficiency gains designed to improve key performance indicators across all value streams. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Support coaching of Operators; ensure operational team members are skilled in tools and techniques to deliver quality and optimal OEE, including but not limited to making proper in process adjustments and overall equipment functionality for Operator. Partner with subject matter experts to develop and implement process reengineering initiatives, including SOP documentation and benefit realizations relating to make ready's, tooling set up, process/equipment adjustments etc. Partner with subject matter experts and oversee the management of continuous improvement initiatives to ensure they are delivered within specified time frames, budget and scope. Analyse existing business processes and develop new and improved working practices as required. Provide high levels of technical expertise to investigate, analyze and resolve detailed and complex equipment issues to ensure optimal output. Proactively monitor and evaluate daily production output for improvement opportunities. Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive agreed upon business outcomes. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to rotating shifts, overnight shifts, and weekends. Responsible for ensuring, where applicable, the product safety, quality, regulatory compliance and legality of all products produced and sold. Required Skills and Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent process experience. 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment working directly on equipment process improvement initiatives. Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis strategies. Experience in Bobst, Hillside, H&S, Cates, Speed Queen, preferred. Proven track record of accomplishments and results in the areas of safety, productivity, efficiency, waste and quality. Superior mechanical aptitude in areas i ncluding tooling, control systems, PLCs, computer control systems, communication systems, electrical motors, gear boxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, etc. Working knowledge of MS Office Self-motivated, hands-on individual with keen interest in quickly learning and applying new skills who can follow written/verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
