Company Description:
Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
Position Purpose:
The Sales Operations Analyst supports functions essential to sales force productivity. These include planning, reporting, sales process optimization, training, program implementation, compensation design and administration, and recruiting and selection of sales support talent. The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned sales organization. Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing, they also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization.
- As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the company.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement by fostering close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, sales management, and sales and support personnel.
- Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement at corporate and operating companies.
- Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization.
- Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives and builds peer support and strong internal company relationships with other key management personnel.
- Works with Accounting, Finance, Human Resources and IT to provide assistance with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to arbitrate or clarify the application of sales compensation program policies and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree- Business, Sales, Marketing or related field
